Magazine calls Louisville one of 25 best places to live

Calling Louisville a place to “sip whiskey and watch the world go by, Men’s Journal magazine included the city as one of 25 “Best Places to Live” in its April edition.
The brief write-up in the magazine praises Louisville’s “artistic funk and gentlemanly class” and calls Bardstown Road in the Highlands “a slice of weirdness in the midst of an upscale neighborhood.”
The magazine did not rank the cities

“Bourbon’s reemergence as a sophisticated beverage rather than redneck swill parallels (Louisville’s) cultural renaissance,” the magazine concludes.
Nashville and Chattanooga, Tenn. also made the Men’s Journal list.
